“Echoes From Our Streets Cities That Tell Stories”: An International eTwinning  Project Has Started at Our School 

Our school is participating in the international eTwinning project “Echoes From Our  Streets: Cities That Tell Stories”, which takes place between February and June  2026. 

The project brings together 12 teachers and 70 students from Turkey, Italy, Georgia,  Belgium, Tunisia, Spain and Cyprus. Within the project, students explore the cultural,  historical, and social identity of their cities and share their discoveries with  international peers through digital storytelling. 

While presenting their cities through streets, food, traditions, and daily life, students  also improve their English communication skills and develop digital competences by  using various Web 2.0 tools. 

The project encourages intercultural dialogue, collaboration, and digital citizenship among students from different countries.

Nuestro centro educativo participa en el proyecto internacional de eTwinning “Echoes From Our Streets: Cities That Tell Stories” («Ecos de nuestras calles: ciudades que cuentan historias»), que se está desarrollando desde febrero y finalizará este junio.

El proyecto reúne a 12 docentes y 70 estudiantes de Turquía, Italia, Georgia, Bélgica, Túnez, España y Chipre. A través de esta colaboración, el alumnado explora la identidad cultural, histórica y social de sus ciudades y comparte sus descubrimientos con compañeros y compañeras de otros países mediante actividades de narración digital.

Al presentar sus ciudades a través de sus calles, su gastronomía, sus tradiciones, sus lugares emblemáticos y su vida cotidiana, los estudiantes mejoran sus competencias comunicativas en inglés y desarrollan habilidades digitales mediante el uso de diversas herramientas Web 2.0.

El proyecto fomenta el diálogo intercultural, la colaboración internacional y la ciudadanía digital responsable. Asimismo, anima al alumnado a valorar la diversidad cultural, potenciar su creatividad y establecer vínculos significativos con jóvenes de diferentes países.
